El Derwandi’s love for life, great food, and good company made him the star character of the 1970´s Lebanese TV show El Denye Hek. With a shisha always in hand, he spent his days seated at a café, retelling favorite stories and cracking jokes. Today, Derwandi unites the best of this much-loved personality with a love of Lebanese food and a passion for sharing it with our Abu Dhabi community from the heart of the city, the Corniche.

Absolutely fantastic! Service was great, food was everything we wanted and desired. I’m vegetarian and there are a lot of options available for us too & the kind guy serving is really made sure that he understood what I like

Terrible place - avoid at all costs. Unprofessional and unfriendly. Booked an outdoor table on the terrace for NYE and got the confirmation. But when we arrived we were asked to pay 500 AED without any notice and given a table at the bar indoors. Very poor management and organization of the NYE event, with zero communication.

On this date, the restaurant was not ready to receive the expected large number of guests. It was at the time of the World Cup match, and the staff, until the match started, did not complete the arrangement of the tables, and the staff dispersed in introducing visitors to the restaurant, and some of the staff did not have a respectful manner, when I asked for water The small size and a cup of tea. The order was very delayed, then the tea arrived without the water, then the waiter brought the large size water, I asked him to change the water to the small one, he went and did not come back, then he came back and told me that the small water is very expensive???? And the available water is called (Sahha), and the water is imported, and the water impressed me with the words, so I asked him, Are you going to pay the bill? The waiter told me that he didn't understand the issue wrongly, that the big one is better...it was strange. I hope that the administration will respect the visitors and make a pre-distribution of waiters. The rating for the restaurant is 4/10
