   Went for our anniversary. Arrived to a Happy Anniversary note on the table and brought a complimentary glass of bubbly. The Maitre d' came to our table with a large board displaying various cuts of steak to help us make our choice. We decided to start with french onion soup (delicious) then share the bone-in ribeye steak with truffled mach and cheese and sea salt fries. They also gave us complimentary sliced sourdough bread to start and three small chocolate chip cookies at the end. It was all so exquisite. We had to take half the steak home because we were so full. We also took a piece of cake home for dessert because we had to get back to our child. The whole meal is an experience in fine dining. 😚👌

   We found the food to be very good, however the portions were quite small for the cost. We enjoyed the steak and side very much. The opportunity to spend a lot of money was much more prevalent then the opportunities to find value. I would recommend the resturant, just be aware the cost.

   This is the best Steak House in the Okanagan Valley! In my opinion it is also in the top 5 in Canada! The staff make you feel like you are part of the family-in a good way. The appetizers we enjoyed were Tuna Tartar and Potato roll stuffed with bacon-delicious. Then table side prepared Caesar Salad-all local and fresh ingredients. Home made sour dough bread with herb butter and chili and honey drizzle. Now the main dish.....The King of Steaks....32 oz of local steak prepared to perfection by chef Alex and his team. You will be hard pressed to find a better steak. And last but not least-home made dessert by their own pastry chef! Cheesecake, brownies and lemon custard. Everything is just right and compliments each dish perfectly. All we can say is try it for yourself!

   Potato Mochi, tuna tartar, mussels, Codfather - although it was salmon, 10oz tenderloin (medium rare), baked potato, roasted carrots. Couple mocktails and 2 bottles of sparkling water. Steak plus the Oscar met expectations, barely as the Oscar was not quite to temp... the mussels were tasty but the flavour profile could be better. Salmon was a dried out and over cooked, def not fresh as advertised. Blame the wife for ordering fish at a steakhouse. Baked potato was just ok, bacon bits were chewy like beef jerky. Pretty expensive place ...$320 plus tip $385, no booze. The only ribeye choice is a 32oz cut...why? $9 Pellegrino? I'll get the $63 14oz ribeye at cactus before coming here again.

Regarding the ribeye, we only serve a large cut because we believe that smaller ribeyes do not allow for proper fat rendering, which impacts both texture and flavor.    The service was excellent and very attentive. Our tenderloin steaks were cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant for steak lovers.
