Vergiss die Liebe nicht… Dieses Motto hat für uns große Bedeutung und wir versuchen täglich, es umzusetzen. Damit meinen wir nicht nur die zwischenmenschlichen Beziehungen oder die Liebe zu unserer Umwelt, sondern vor allem die Liebe zu den Produkten und deren Qualität.
Die “Osteria der Katzlmacher” besteht seit 1983 in München, seit Mai 2006 sind wir in der Bräuhausstraße zu finden. In einem gemütlichen Ambiente wird hier italienische Tradition mit kompetentem und aufmerksamem Service gepflegt.
Unser Speisenangebot repräsentiert die gesamte Vielfalt Italiens mit Originalprodukten und täglich wechselnder Karte. Das Ganze wird von einer umfassenden Weinkarte abgerundet, mit ca. 200 Positionen, großen Etiketten und kleinen Winzern.
Unser Anliegen ist, dass unsere Besucher, mitten in München, Urlaub wie in Italien erleben und genießen können. Giorgio Cherubini und sein Team freuen sich täglich, ihre anspruchsvollen Gäste im Katzlmacher verwöhnen zu dürfen.

Sehr gutes Essen, wunderschönes Ambiente in sehr zentraler Lage gepaart mit sehr gutem und freundlichem Service. Bis auf die etwas höheren Preise, die aber durchaus der Qualität angemessen sind, gibt es nichts, was man sich anders wünschen möchte.

We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in Munich this time. Needed a change from German food, so this restaurant seemed to fit that thought. Food was fresh and prepared as you specially ordered. Nice selection of wines. Service is personalized and very attentive. This is a small restaurant so reservations would be advisable. You will not be disappointed with this selection as they have a nice variety of fresh fish, meat and pasta. Menu changes daily. I can’t wait to go again.

Essen war ok . Man wolte uns Stopfender Wein unterjubeln! Ein Kelner wolte jede 2 Minuten die Glaeser mit wasser nachfuellen ( 7,80 € eine Flasche) Ein Kelner Der den schlechten Wein unter den trinkbaren mischt ist nicht tragbar! Fazit: 1mal aber nie wieder!!!

We had initially walked in but was sent out because they said the restaurant was completely full even though there were only 2-3 tables dining. We thought that was weird and after 15 mins or so we checked on OpenTable and was able to make a reservation for right away. We went back in again (different friend initiated the conversation) and advised we made reservations on OpenTable. Even though our reservation wasn’t listed in their book, they proceeded to give us a table. This was very off putting because it seemed like they intentionally turned us away in the beginning. The server that served us seemed friendly. Had a smile on his face and made jokes, but he was not attentive. Service was REALLY slow. We had an appetizer, a main, and dessert and a bottle of red wine and our dinner took 3 hours. There was so much time between dishes that we left close to being hungry. We saw other tables ordering a steak dish that looked delicious so we wanted to order it too but the server said it was sold out. Which made us very skeptical based on our experience with getting a table. Plus tables that came after us were able to order the steak dish. Food was ok. But not worth the slow service.

Alle Speisen sind sehr klein und wir sind nach 5 Gänge nicht satt geworden. Außerdem haben wir extrem lange gewartet. Ich und mein Mann gehen gern fein essen, aber dieses Lokal entspricht leider nicht der feine Küche in München

Fantastic dinner: accommodating staff, well-prepared courses that were appropriately paced. Good wine list and helpful recommendations. Definitely worth a visit while in Munich.
