   As first time diners at DePaul’s we didn’t know what to expect, but we enjoyed our experience and the food was delicious! We will definitely be back

   Me and my wife’s experience was very delightful. They made us feel very welcomed, and everyone gave praises to my wife’s birthday. The food was very delicious and the presentation of the dessert was wonderful. Definitely will be coming back.

   I absolutely loved the interior of this restaurant and we had great service, but the food was at best mediocre. We started with a shrimp cocktail of colossal shrimp. The shrimp were pretty rubbery. My wife ordered the halibut. She loved the coconut, the sauce and the black rice but the halibut was both overcooked and cold in the center. I had the Delmonico steak with mushrooms. It was good, just good and a little over cooked from medium rare. The mushrooms were not very flavorful. The manager came over and asked how our food was, and when my wife hesitated he asked whether there was a problem. She explained the overcooked and cold in the center. He was great and offered to bring out another dish, which she declined. When they brought the bill they had taken the halibut off the bill. So service was great, ambience was great, but the food was lacking.

   Let me start by saying that our server Josh was outstanding-he was very personable. Best service ever. The staff seemed to work well together and I got the feeling that they actually liked working there. Good vibes. Shout out to the management. I had a chance to chat with the manager who was very pleasant. I’m sorry I forget his name. We ate upstairs. The chairs were comfy. The food was excellent. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection. The best I’ve ever had. Caesar salad was decent. The Mac&cheese with lobster and crab was so good. The loaded potato was massive and well cooked. We couldn’t eat it all. Thank you for the great experience in celebrating my husband’s birthday.

   Brussel sprouts app was delicious. NY Strip and Fillet had no seasoning at all. Onion rings were soggy and broccoli was under cooked. Waitress was very nice and realized we didn’t eat the broccoli and when we told her why we took it off the bill. We had high hopes but have other choices for the same high end steaks.

    DePaul’s is beautiful, a gem right in my backyard! The menu is amazing, the food delicious, loved every morsel. The service is OUTSTANDING!! We were celebrating a birthday and our dessert served with sparkler was impressive And for the icing on the cake….DePauls offers complimentary valet parking, Tonight was a treat and a great way to start the New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you DePaul’s!!!!! We will for sure be back!
