    Great experience- only negative was the medium rare temperature of the steak was closer to rare than medium for the bone-in filet. Recommend ordering medium to medium rare.

    They were very busy and you had to wait to order, wait to get your food, wait for the bill and wait to pay. Our waiter was well informed but too many customers to give a 5 star rating. A few customers around us had the same thoughts. The gentleman next to us got up abruptly to get the waiter and asked,” Can we order? It’s been 40 minutes since we got here.” This New York restaurant is a happening place, if you have nothing but time, it’s great!

    I had a fantastic experience. Alejandro was a wonderful server. The steak was top 3 best steaks I have ever eaten, and I LOVE steak. Overall, best meal in NYC and such a great date with my boyfriend.

    We went for lunch and decided on hot appetizers (crab cake and wagyu meatballs) and sides. Our hot appetizers were tasty but were lukewarm, not hot. The sides (asparagus, wild mushrooms and truffle parmesan fries) were good, not great. The service was fine. Overall, nothing special.

    We waited an hour an hour for our food with a 11:45am reservation while the place was empty before the rush. At the 45 mins mark we asked for bread and was told there’s no bread then everyone started getting warm delicious rolls right before our meals came. I could have gotten a better chicken Caesar salad from any fast food restaurant-was dull, dry, and nothing able it was homemade. The best part of our meal were the cocktails. I haven’t been to DF’s for about 15 years and I was very disappointed in their Sixth Ave location.
