   We had not been in a while. It was one of the most pleasurable dining experiences in recent history. Brittany was awesome. We’ll be back sooner next time.

   Sasha is first class as a waiter. Steaks and dinner and drinks, all amazing. First class all around, always.

   It’s large and elegant, can feel crowded depending on the area. Our server was great- Caesar salad- good, Mushrooms were sent back, too rubbery. Steak was really good- once you staple off the season, (a little salty for my taste.) Dessert was free on my birthday, but nothing that really turned me on. Lots of people, mostly casual dress.

   Restaurant was really busy for a Tuesday evening. As a result things were relatively slow for getting drinks and food to the table which was disappointing considering the price of everything. I ordered a glass of wine to have with my steak well before I got my steak and still had to wait to get the glass of wine while my steak was sitting in front of me. The 8oz filet I ordered was mediocre at best in terms of high end steak. It honestly seemed like something you'd get at a banquet dinner--internally dry, lots pepper on top to cover up for lack of flavor, and didn't have premium filet texture. I wanted to get some premium whiskey for after dinner conversation with our group of 8. I prefer premium Old Forester, which was listed on the menu, but it was simply listed as "Old Forester" and the price was $50/pour. I knew our server would not have any idea about what kind of Old Forester they had so I went directly to the bar to ask the bartenders. The two bartenders had to turn around several bottles to even realize they had more than just 86/well Old Forester. They did find a bottle of single barrel rye OF, but there was only enough for 1 drink. Then I had to scan the rest of the bottles myself and ask to see certain bottles because the bartenders generally had no clue what they had/didn't have. I spotted a bottle of Barrell Bourbon that I was ok with, but then the bartenders had no clue what its price was. I had to wait for someone to go get someone to find the price. Overall, just a bad experience on this night,. The staff was friendly and probably overloaded for a Tuesday, but I didn't get a rebate on my check because food and drinks were slow, so I assume the restaurant feels they did their best. If that is there best, I will not be coming back. My multiple experiences at Capital Grille and Steak 48 are significantly better than this first Del Frisco's experience and much better value.

   Great meal from start to finish. Keith was an outstanding waiter. Meal pace was on point. Food perfectly cooked.

   In my 35 years calling on and enjoying and supporting the food service industry I have never been so disappointed. Had a food service issue. No big deal, happens frequently . Its how you deal with it that matters. Let our server/ bartender know we were extremely disappointed in one of our food service items. Enough of a disappointed to ruin the entire evening. Server did nothing. Finally got a manager to come over. Explained the situation. Manager left, AND NEVER RETURNED. Amazingly, two people can spend $423 and have a miserable experience that was 1000% totally ignored. What has happened to customer service?

   Amazing! Our service attendant was Jennifer. You have to ask for her when you go to Del Frisco in Charlotte. She was kind, gracious, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu and pairing of the entire. The food was second to none. Perfect meduim rib eye steak. My wife had the pork chop. Wow! Delicious! We will be going back.
