   Enjoyed our dinner at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse tonight. The food was excellent, but the service did not match up because the server seemed to have been assigned too many tables for one waiter to handle. It was hard to get his attention for drink refills during dinner or dessert menus after we had finished dinner and all the dishes had been cleared away. It probably wasn’t his fault, so we still tipped 20%, but it would have been nice to have better service, like occasionally stopping by to see if we needed anything instead of us having to flag him down.

   I am a huge fan of this location and have been a customer for over 10 years. However, the service level that I have experienced during the past 2 visits has really taken a nosedive. The servers seem to be inexperienced, lack knowledge of the menu and potential alternative selections, and lack hustle in terms of periodically checking on you. I might understand if I was showing up on off days or hours, but I am going on Friday and Saturday nights. The food and drink were excellent as always. I really hope that this service issue is resolved. Otherwise I will have to take more of my business to their competitors.

   I have dined at DelFrisco’s in the past and found the experience and food enjoyable. However after my past experience I don’t think I go there again. I ordered a $133 tomahawk ribeye, medium. After the first bite I had to send it back, it was raw, after the second time sending it back to be properly cooked, the dinner was ruined

   The food and service were outstanding as always! Also, great view of the harbor from most tables. The butter cake is the best.
