Welcome to Dean Martin's Lanning's, a fine dining steak & seafood experience. We offer five star, tuxedo dinner service & have a lounge area that features specialty cocktails, live music, and more. Our wine menu was awarded the Award of Excellence by Wine Spectator in 2022, and we were voted locally as the best Fine Dining, Steak, Seafood, and more in Akron, Ohio. Helmed by a spectacular view of Yellow Creek, our restaurant offers a truly unique take on what fine dining means today. Why go downtown when you can stay in town?

great ambiance. good service. steaks not cooked to order. apparently have never heard of pittsburgh style. additionally steaks were not hot when served to our table.

The food and service was excellent. They've added a Vegan Wellington done with mushrooms as a vegetarian option. It's fantastic. One of the best vegan dishes I've ever had.

Dinner was horrible…table of 4 that ordered all fillets. The waitress mixed up the orders and passed the fillets around several times and back to the chef to recook a couple of times. Salad, and sides came after the steak. Waitress and management did not apologize or take off receipt. Will NOT return.

Anniversary dinner was amazing! We had 2 attentive servers, both named Joe. Very polite and educated about the menu. We were there an 1/2 price bottles of wine night and it was the perfect complement to our dinner. Followed by scrumptious chocolate mousse! We’ll be back!

The place is not worth the price tag. Our waiter was good; however, it took 20 minutes for us to get our initial drink order. Service was just overall slow but I think that is what they are going for and perhaps some like that. Menu is very basic and I feel like for the price tag, it should have more options and more “pizazz”. My husbands meal came out fine; however, my steak came out undercooked. The waiter took it back to the chef to put back on the heat and literally the same piece of meat that I ate and cut into was brought back to me. It was still raw in the middle. I told them just to make me a new piece of filet and they agreed. I basically told them to make it well done because clearly the chef does not know medium well steaks. The 3rd time it came out, it was correct. The manager did come to our table however he felt the need to make a comment about how I like my steak and I felt like it was an insult. It shouldn’t matter how a guest orders the steak—the chef should be able to cook it to perfect when you are paying $60 for 6 oz of meat. To say the least—improvement is needed.
