   Very convenient when attending the NAC. Good children's menu. Had the fish taco . Filling was great. Wish the soft shell had been hot/warm instead of straight out of the fridge cold. Great service . Will go back again!

   Reserved a table for two on what was ultimately a very busy night. Unfortunately the table they set aside for us was not in a desireable location. We literally had to wear our coats/jackets for the duration of our meal because it there was a consistent cold wind blowing in our direction. Staff were apologetic but were not able to offer a better table. My belief is a restaurant should reserve a desired table for a couple who took the time to reserve a table two weeks prior to our night out instead of seating us in a wind tunnel. Service was good,food was OK.

   We were seated at the bottom of the stairs on the lower floor. It was a very cold evening and as a result we were freezing cold and nothing was done about it. Made fir a very unpleasant experience.

   We were there on a Wednesday night and took advantage of the “2 can dine for $55”. With the addition of half price bottles of wine , we had a fabulous dining experience.

   Ribs and salads were great but very little meat in Guiness and steak stew. It was incredibly noisy; conversation was nearly impossible. We were seated near the door and froze every time it was opened. But most frustrating was how rushed we were made to feel. We were in and out in less than 45 minutes... great if you are in a hurry but we wanted to relax and converse with our guest.

   Lively, cozy and friendly pub with good pub fare and reasonable prices. The separated seating areas make it extra cozy. Lots of nice decor/architectural details. Great spot!

   I had the steak frites. Steak was perfectly cooked but the “Parmesan garlic fries” seemed to be just plain fries. Tasty but nothing special. The Sticky toffee pudding came with ice cream but without the whipped cream in the description. Today I see that the restaurant is “temporarily closed” so maybe they ran out of some things?!? The service was good but I was dying for a glass of water…is it not automatically offered anymore? We will return because the location is so convenient. I won’t order the steak frites again. I’ll go back to my standard fish taco dinner.

   The music is much too loud for a lunch atmosphere. The child’s meal was supposed to come with dessert of ice cream, but they were out. There was no offer of a substitute or a discount. We were a group of two (one adult, one child) and were the second customers of the day to be seated. With the entire restaurant available we were seated immediately beside a group of four adults, one of whom was loud and spoke inappropriately (lots of f-bombs) the entire time. The fiesta salad was good, but the taco bowl in which it was served was very oily tasting; not at all appetizing.

    It’s always a good spot to eat and relax before a show at the NAC. I got the Steak Frites and it was excellent! I want to highlight the great service we received - our waitress was on the ball, came often and was always friendly. Furthermore, once I got my plate, steak was largely undercooked - the waitress and manager took the situation in hand and ensured I got a new steak ASAP and was taking care of. Errors happen, but what matters is the quality of service and how issues are resolved!
