    Always have a good time here! Generous portions, great tasting food, and super friendly staff. Been going here for years and plan to for many more.

    Food and service were excellent. Disappointed to learn the Friday Happy Hour was not in the restaurant. Only at Good Night Gracie’s and “the bar” area. We changed our reservation from 6pm to 5pm for a savings which we didn’t get because we sat 5 feet away from the bar. Just plain silly. Drinks were supposed to be half off. We paid full price. Website was very misleading.

    The food was excellent. We brought out of town family in for dinner and it was great. the special on the menu was delicious and our waitress was very pleasant!

    It was our first time and multiple times throughout our meal my husband asked why we haven’t been before. The food was great for a great price and great service!

    D’Amatos is consistently good with amazing waitstaff and management. I love the ambiance here and the management and waitstaff really care about the patrons, it’s almost like a small town restaurant feel. I had my bridal shower there, but have been going there for years for happy hour, dinner and brunch. Highly recommend, this is likely my favorite restaurant in downtown Royal Oak.

    The food and staff are always outstanding at D’Amatos. We only recently discovered D’Amatos during Royal Oak Restaurant Week. But we have returned multiple times even though it is 35-40 minutes from our home. Each time, Marvin has been our server, providing the utmost in kind and professional service. We have now tried a variety of appetizers, main dishes, drinks and desserts-all outstanding with generous portions. In addition to Marvin, we have had the pleasure of speaking with the hostess, manager and the person who took great care in making sure our table was cleared after each course. Every one of them goes out of their way to make sure their customers feel welcomed. Highly recommend.
