Da Marino Restaurant is a uniquely sophisticated dining experience unlike any other in New York City. Just a few blocks from Times Square and located in the heart of theatrical shows, Da Marino welcomes all diners into a sweet escape that provides all the amenities of Italy for a day away from the ordinary.

The luxurious experience features exciting live music as well as fresh Italian food prepared with the love and wealth of knowledge that Chef Pasquale has gained from studying the art of Italian cuisine in Calabria, Italy. Chef Pasquale only uses the best ingredients to create this masterful cuisine. Our melt-in-your-mouth mozzarella comes from Naples, our tomatoes are picked from the finest vines of Italy and our bread and pasta are mad in-house.

                                                                                                  We ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio each which was warm and awful. I then noticed the waitress pouring the wine from those massive really cheap bottles you buy in the supermarket. My osobucca was terrible only taste was salt and the portion size was enough to feed a family of 4…really off putting! My husband’s lasagne was the same sauce as used in the osobucca huge portion again But just pasta and sauce very little ricotta….service was quick so if you choose to go stick to food that’s very simple

                                                                                                  This was such a tourist trap. They also told OpenTable that we were no show's even though they checked us in (they were just checking on paper though). I had the lobster ravioli special and it was barely edible. There is live music if that's appealing. Just a very touristy crowd and not very good food. It was convenient to our show and they were mindful of our show time, so that was helpful. It was quick to eat there at least.

The service was rushed at first and then took a long time and the server got one of our two orders wrong. The part that ruined the whole experience was the waiter was extremely rude to my 18 yo niece that was paying for our $85 dinner with a $100 bill. I assume because she didn’t say keep the change, he rudely dropped the bill fold down on the table with the $100 back in smaller bills. She was trying to do something nice for me and wasn’t thinking the tip wasn’t because she’s young and everywhere else we have been I have paid and some have had tip included even for two. This is the kind of service that gives NYC a bad name.

La comida fue mala, pero lo peor fue que nos engañaron con la cuenta, ampliaron en todos los platos precios superiores a los de la carta, nos dimos cuenta después de haber pagado con la tarjeta, el camarero llamó automáticamente al encargado (ni siquiera pidió disculpas, con cara de “nos han pillado”) y el encargado dijo que fue un fallo informático. Trajo la nueva cuenta y dijo que había anulado el cargo anterior, pero no nos llegaba el aviso del abono, le pedimos justificante y se excusó con que justo se les acabó el papel. Reclamaos nuestro documento firmado de primer cargo porque tampoco nos lo devolvía y solo cuando dijimos que sin un justificante de abono no hacíamos nuevo pago, nos trajo un folio impreso con el abono, pagamos aunque todavía, 12 horas después, no tenemos el dinero abonado en el banco y sí los dos cargos. Espero que nos llegue para no hacernos perder más tiempo yendo a la policía… NO VAYÁIS, te fastidian una noche de tus vacaciones y eso, no tiene precio…
