   Wr stopped by Darden restaurant in Brooklyn for a casual dinner on a random Tuesday night, and it did not disappoint. The vibe was just right—chill but lively, with music that really set the mood (a mix of reggae, hip hop, soca and r&b). We tried the oxtail and the salmon, and both dishes were really tasty… the portion sizes definitely worth the money. The oxtail was very tender which is hard to find lately in a Caribbean restaurant. My husbands salmon and mashed potatoes was also… *chefs kiss*. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in their dishes because everything was on point. If you’re looking for great food and a relaxed yet fun atmosphere, this spot is a solid choice, even for a midweek night out.

   My best friend and I stopped here for a very needed girls night after a longgggg work day and it was such a vibe! The atmosphere was perfect—great energy, music that set the mood, and a trendy yet chill setting. We tried a little bit of everything since we read the reviews and settled for the jerk chicken, tacos and wings, and the curry goat. Every dish was REALLLLLLY GOOD. The jerk chicken had a lot of flavor and wasn’t too spicy which we liked, the tacos and wings wad a good starter, the curry goat was tender and delicious. The drinks were trendy and tasty—definitely a highlight of the night. Whether you’re out with your bestie or just want good food and drinks, this spot won’t disappoint. We’ll absolutely be back.

   All I can say is WOW ! I had a party of 6 celebrating for my co workers birthday and from the time we walked in we felt the love. The host was very sweet. Let’s get into the curry goat. When I tell you it was so good I kept sucking the bone ! Definitely had a great experience I can’t wait to return. The rum punch was delicious. Definitely can’t wait to try the tacos ! S/0’s to the DJ definitely kept us in the mood. We are so in love and can’t wait to brunch xoxoxo

   Coming from out of town I was recommended by a friend and I live in Chicago. This had to be the best Caribbean food I’ve had in a long time cooked to perfection. The salmon was crispy like I like. The coconut curry shrimp was absolutely great . The staff Listen to every request drinks we’re strong but good well worth the money. the portions of the food were fulfilling. I will definitely be back here every trip that I make to New York.

   Had an amazing time at Dgarden for date night with my man the food was very flavorful The customer service was top-tier very attentive to anything that I requested. I didn’t have to keep asking for a refills for drinks. The service was impeccable. I definitely will recommend. I never tasted a better curry goat in my life 10 out of 10

   This place was not only cute and full of more lil hidden gems then a lil bit the decor to the indoor Garden ,to out door patio ,hookah and the food was deeeeelicous ! It has nice vibe and did I mention the food lol again it was goood!!!! I had the mussels steak with Mac n cheese and my drink was worth it I’m feeling it now 😜 I will be back!

   Went there for brunch reservation on a Saturday at 2:30. I also follow their business on Instagram. There was no posting about brunch not happening on that day. When my husband and I arrived at 2:25, there was a worker setting up and told us saying “we’re not doing brunch today. We don’t open till 3.”. So why allow people to make a reservation that day for brunch? Anyways, we just paid for a Uber to get there so we were going to wait until they opened at 3. The rest of the workers and I believe the manager pulled up in a white bmw around 2:50, we were waiting outside the establishment this entire time and they sat in the car in front until like 3:15 then all had an attitude when getting out the car. One employee even said “damn they’re feening” under her breath. No greeting, no nothing. So we decided to leave and go somewhere.

   Please be prepared to apply grace when you dine here. We were their first costumers for the day. Our order still came out wrong. Without taking accountability of how they didn’t meet standards, they want to hit you with policy. The staff did not hold the standard of the establishment. There was something wrong with everyone’s food. It was unrealistically for the server to keep up with each individual refills as they corrected 11 orders which came out individually. Neither did they explain that the policy only spilts with 2 cards. I understand you don’t explain this to everyone, but you do explain it with a large party. Especially when you drop the check, Ipersonally would not return. The space was very nice and demure.

   The food, music and drinks are always fantastic every time I go, but there’s not much of a crowd. I feel like the music is too much of a vibe for it not to be packed.. maybe it’s just me.

    I love the R&B music, and everyone in the restaurant wishes my mom a happy birthday. My mother loved the birthday celebration with bubbles .
