Food Network ‘Chopped’ Champion Chef Cory Oppold and the culinary team take you on a food journey of both your taste and visual senses, using seasonality of products and a progression of flavor.

COURSE offers a Chef tasting menu Friday and Saturday and a 5-course ‘choice of’ menu on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, as well as a special menu series on Sundays, of • COURSE.

Chef Cory and the culinary team have created this limited time, 8-course menu of reimagined classic steakhouse favorites, infusing them with contemporary flavors and sophisticated techniques. This menu will be offered on Sundays 1/5, 1/12, 1/19, 1/26, 2/2, 2/9, for $145/person with reservation hours from 11am-3pm. For large groups or an al fresco dining experience, we encourage you to book on our covered, heated patio.

    We felt Course missed the mark on a number of levels this time. First, the gift card offer. We did not get the bonus $100 card until 3 days after the offer ended. No indication from the email promotion that that was going to be the case. So it left us hanging for several days. Took 5 emails to clarify this. The offer also indicated the gift cards would not cover for taxes. No so. When we used it, the card covered for the meal and the taxes. Marketing Dept needs to do a much better job at handling all this. We were served by the new bartender, Justin, who had revised the cocktail menu to only describe what each drink might taste like, not the ingredients. This was to encourage diners to choose a cocktail based on taste. But for those of us who have restrictions on certain spirits or ingredients, this makes it impossible for us to order a cocktail, unless he were to explain every cocktail listed. Very disappointing. He also did not know we had diet restrictions. Since the previous servers here always knew that, how come he didn't? We thought the "Chinese Food" course in the 12 days of Xmas menu missed the mark. Did not taste like Chinese food. Justin commented that Chef Cory is also not a Chinese chef. That's why. However, he managed to make the Sonoma duck in the next course taste like a Nanking salted duck. Quite a feat of cooking. The turkey breast was the best turkey breast we've ever had -- moist and full of flavor, very tender. The Prescott K4 prime rib eye was also perfectly cooked, and beautifully executed with a demi glace, and wonderful baby beets. The "World's Best Cup of Coffee" (coffee panna cotta) was definitely not impressive. We found it had a deep dark chocolate flavor, but was one-note, and boring after a few bites. Shimogamo's Hojicha panna cotta is much better in flavor and texture. Overall, not bad, but we miss the previous cocktail menu and the servers up front before a new manager came on board.

    Went to course for 12 days of Christmas menu and it was awesome. Some of the best food I have had in Scottsdale. Ate at bar because of last minute date night with my wife while my brother in law watched the kiddos. The bartender was a very knowledgeable server and mixologist. Every detail was attended to from the moment we arrived. Must visit!

    Amazing experience. The staff was friendly, helpful and enjoyable. The food was incredible. The plate presentation was exquisite. Each plate for the “12 days of Christmas” had a unique tie to a Holiday reference or a classic Christmas movie. Each dish was savory, unique, rich and flavorful. We will be returning to see what the chef has in store for future seasons.

    Hit or miss on the Christmas tasting menu. Apppreciate the service but value/ambiance just wasn’t worth the $175 per person plus cocktail, a glass of wine and gratuity

    We dined here during the 12 Days of Christmas menu. It was spectacular and the restaurant accommodated our dietary preferences (no red meat for me and a nut allergy for my husband). Terrific service too. The location is a bit unfortunate, the “patio” location is in a parking lot next to a quick serve restaurant with bright overhead lights so despite the environment crated, the in the patio, the bright and lights were quite hard to not notice. Highly recommend the food and can’t wait to try brunch.
