   This is one of the best restaurants in Cincinnati's region. Food is excellent and the service is always top-notch. The bartenders (Travis, Katie, Flora and Dannial) are great fun and great professionals. Ludo is the best waiter. Great selection of alcohol be it scotch, bourbon, gin, etc. This is upscale dinning that is worth the price. Enjoy!

   I like casinos for a unique experience and excitement. However, Council Oak is a reason of itself to go to Hard Rock Cincinnati. The food is a cut above, and the service is the best of any restaurant I have ever visited. The bar staff is amazing!!

   Shout out to Josh, the GM with Council Oaks Steaks and Seafood inside Hard Rock Cafe! I called the restaurant because I didn’t see anything listed GF on the online menu. I left a voicemail with the restaurant and the GM called me back with a list of what can be modified or items that were prepared without gluten. He asked me for my email so he could send over a recap of what we talked about on the phone so I could reference it for later. He said feel free to reach out with any additional questions. We arrive on Saturday for our dinner and he was there and seated us. The server came over and already knew I had a gluten allergy and was informative on what I could have. I ended up getting sweet potatoes and a chicken dish. The food was good and the service and atmosphere were superb! I truly appreciated the hospitality and concern for my experience!

   The food is excellent as always. The Service is the best in any restaurant. Lido is a star: Funny and so attentive. The bar folks of Flora, Travis and Katie, adding with the newest addition Danyelle makes every order perfect and enjoyable. I come to the casino for the service as much of the food.

   We arrived for our reservation and were told they were running behind. The host was not apologetic and quite rude when we asked how long the wait might be.. she said guests who had reservations for 45 min prior had yet to be seated so at least 45 minutes… a high end restaurant should be much better at handing reservations. Finally, we were seated an hour after our reservation time but not in the area we had chosen. I selected bar seating on our reservation but we were seated in the dining room - but after the long wait we just wanted a table. There were several empty tables and plenty of staff standing around… this certainly added to the frustration. Service was slow and our plates were not cleared between courses. When our entrees arrived our appetizers dishes had yet to be cleared. We had to scoot them to the side ourselves and the server who dropped our food didn’t take the old plates with him. Again, frustrating. Food itself was decent. Overall, terrible experience and not what you’d expect for “fine dining”. The way the staff mismanaged the reservations and offered nothing, not even an apology is disappointing. Plenty of nearby restaurants with better food, better service and better management.

   Waited one hour even though we had a reservation. Sat us in bar because could not predict how much longer the wait for dining room. Ordered wine got it after my husband got his soup no spoon. Food came no one followed up. Mashed potato were cold, husbands steak was cold. It was our birthday. It was so bad we left paid $155 didn’t even order our birthday desert. Their over booking and not honoring our reservation should not have penalized us!

    The food and service at this fine dining restaurant was excellent especially on a very busy Saturday evening. We had the salmon and a side of mashed potatoes along with a bourbon poundcake and sherbet dessert. Everything was delicious. Our server checked on us from time to time and was very courteous and engaging. Council Oak Cincinnati exemplifies what fine dining is about, and on this night they knocked it out of the ballpark.
