This restaurant is best avoided. We booked a table here for breakfast for 10.30am. The restaurant was very quiet with only one or two other tables occupied. We were a party of four. Two of us ordered the cooked breakfast with fried eggs, both asking that the eggs be soft. Both came with eggs that were rock hard and looked as if they’d been cooked the day before and reheated. The whole breakfast was overcooked and had obviously been kept warm for several hours. It was a shocking example of how not to serve breakfast. The other two breakfasts, scrambled and poached eggs were also overcooked and poor. We complained and the eggs were replaced but no apology was given. I asked to speak to the manager and he couldn’t be found. Not a restaurant I could recommend or intend to return to. What has happened to Cote ?

Always find the food delicious here - would recommend the pate and vegetable dip starters but you can’t go wrong.

We organised a team event from work and it was a nice venue to enjoy a dinner and chat. It was a bit loud on the day and pretty busy. Food menu is extensive and you'll find something to like for sure. Quality and presentation were very good. All orders arrived on time, all together. Recommended for sure if you are around City.

£22.50 breakfast is a good deal. Lots of food. Too much sugar added to the French breakfast, but the English breakfast was fine. Nice big coffees

No fillet steak and they couldn’t offer us a cappuccino as they’d cleaned the machine 15mins before closing time instead of once they’d shut :-(
