The service was really bad - they need to train their waiters a bit better. I had to ask for tap water 3 times and and then in the end order off a different waiter. When I asked for ketchup and mayo, they arrived messily squirted on to the same side plate instead of in ramekins. That has never happened to me before in a restaurant!

Quick service, food was ok. Very busy and noisy because of concert evening.

A busy restaurant conveniently located at the side of the Royal Festival Hall. Very lively, with two seating areas. Staff attentive. Food good. Avoid the tables for two people close to the entrance door if it is cold outside, as you will be sitting in a draft. This cannot be helped, but is something to be aware of

difficult to find one redeeming feature about Cote Royal Festival Hall. No set menu was presented and when I asked I was told that the Festive menu finished the day before and the New Year would be offered from the next day. Our drinks order was taken (one each) but one of them presented was wrong. Then the food arrived before the wrong drink had arrived at the table. I have no idea what was in my burger but it was tough and certainly no ground beef. A very strange-looking dessert menu was presented but we decided to leave. Too noisy, sloppy service, but very poor food. We were at the St. Katherine Dock Cote twice last month and each time it was excellent - avoid at all costs.

Reliably very good value, nicely presented and good quality food -very busy (full) so service was a little slow, compared to previous experience but think staff thin on ground and despite evident pressure, remained good natured.
