   As a regular visitor to Cote it is normally A restaurant where you know what you’re going to get ,the quality ,the service and the pricing Unfortunately, there is a new menu which has taken away some of the favourites but more importantly the prices have increased dramatically and the portion sizes have reduced similarly. When queried about the portion sizes, it was attributed to the new crockery which gave it an impression of being smaller … this is certainly not the case and is a poor excuse

   The food was very disappointing. Normally the food at Cote is good. This wasn’t.

   One of our trusted restaurants! We’ve never had a bad meal at Côte and yesterday was no exception. Food excellent (especially the Crème Caramel which is consistently the best we’ve ever tasted). Service was first class - friendly, efficient and helpful. Altogether a very pleasurable meal and reasonably priced too.

   Service could’ve been better, there was shouting coming from the kitchen that was bellowed through the restaurant and the waiters would touch the food with their fingers on the plate, the food was Okay at best and atmosphere wasn’t much as wasn’t busy but decor on point. Overall didn’t place.

   We ordered steaks which were nicely cooked, and peppercorn sauce. I do not exaggerate when I say we got 2 teaspoonfuls of sauce in a tiny jug and they charged us £2.75 per sauce!! We booked through a marketing email which offered us free cocktails-when the bill came we were charged for the drinks-take care and check your bill, this is not the first time this has happened to us. I don’t want to put you off visiting Cote, we really like it, just check your bill!!

   Had the fish stew but could not find much fish seemed to have been full of mussels

   Poor meal, tuna niciose only had 3 tiny pieces of anchovies, too much lettuce, asked for more anchovies, got a bowl with a few more and more lettuce. Friends burger was tasteless, worst meal ever there, usually very good but we were disappointed.
