                                                                              Server gave great vibes and assisted in making our special night a smooth experience. DJ played some jazzy tunes that added to the spicy ambience of the venue. The food was up to par, but did not excite and the portions were quite small. Overall value was not met based on price, but it was enjoyable. End of story, there are better Mexican spots in the city.

                                                                              Tacos were all so great, the chocolate mousse at the end was not the greatest. Server was taking things little by little away from our table to make it a point that we should start to get going, and at the end said we have to leave because there is another reservation. Understandable that it was Valentine’s Day, but felt very transactional on a day to make a special dinner.

                                                                              Our party of 6 arrived staggered, and each was seated upon arrival, which I appreciate. and our party of 6 was seated right away. Drinks and apps were quick to come, and the waiter helped choose items from the menu that were flavorful and delicious. The food was pleasing to the eye and tasty. Portions were to be expected. The atmosphere was lively and energetic. It was a fun location for a larger party of friends to reconnect in a relaxed atmosphere.

                                                                              The food was great, but we were even more appreciative of the service. We have a friend who has a very serious food allergy and the waiter went above and beyond checking and double checking with the kitchen about all the food at the table (not just hers) and making sure she was safe and comfortable. They also helped us secure a table down at noir so that we could move downstairs when we were done with dinner.
