   Pre-theater meal. Sat in the bar area and ordered a combination of happy hour (until 6:30pm) and regular menu items. All arrived relatively quickly, presented nicely, seasoned well and tasting good. Service was friendly and attentive. There was an option of letting the restaurant know that you are going to the show down the street so that they can get you out in time. Overall a great experience

   The food and service were wonderful, but we asked for our 10% "play" discount , our waitress acknowledged it, but didn't apply it. Unfortunately, I didn't handle the check, so didn't realize til after we left. :(

   while my entree was tasty it was served to me lukewarm/partially cold. The noise level was high, in part because tables were so close together. The seating wasn't very comfortable. We will not be returning

   Three of us dined here before our show at the Curran, just one block away. Started with the large sized Cesar to share. I had 2 appetizers- I eat pasta and pizza at home. So the Kampachi crudo was great as were the meatballs. Plenty of food and a chance to try more things. One friend had the chicken leg confit over polenta and she loved it. The other had the spaghetti with clams and loved hers. A very good meal, excellent service and lively atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

   The hostess was good and seated us promptly, and she helped clear some of the tables —so she was being very attentive. Our waiter ,on the other hand , did the minimum and did not seem enthusiastic at all to be at work. The real opportunity was with the food. The Caesar salad was not cut up into bite-sized pieces and nor was the dressing very flavorful. My tagliatelle noodles were gummy and stuck together and some were undercooked. My wife’s spaghetti con vongole had a funny taste to it. Both dishes needed more seasoning and we had asked for the salt and pepper. (which I almost never do.) The main benefit of this restaurant is its location, which is almost right across the street from the Curran theater.

   We had such a good experience the first time around, that we had to return. Once again, our food, drinks, dessert, service, ambiance, and overall experience were all top-notch. Thanks again for everything!

   Opted for the restaurant week, four course menu. At $60 a person, it’s a moderately priced. The first two courses of the set menu were pretty good. I got the fried calamari and the risotto. The other options also looked pretty tasty. The meat dish for the main was a little tough and the panna cotta was alright. The service needs to work out some kinks because they mixed up our drink order - brought the correct drinks but gave them to the wrong person, and also brought us two drinks that were meant for another table. It was a little loud so not the best atmosphere for more intimate conversations.
