Warm and intimate neighborhood kitchen and gathering place offering seasonally-driven, globally-inspired flavors by Chef Javier Villatoro. Starting in his home country of Honduras, and spending 15 years as a chef in San Francisco, Coray Kitchen tells the story of how migration shapes who we are, and influences the flavors we find on the plate.

Located in the heart of Delmar, NY, Coray Kitchen delivers an elevated dining experience, fresh oyster bar, craft cocktail program, and down-to-earth atmosphere for the greater Capital Region. Indoor and outdoor dining available.

Specializing in farm-to-table, New American and California Cuisine, with a focus on scratch cooking.

Outdoor seating is seasonally available on our covered patio. Reservations can not be guaranteed if the patio needs to close due to weather related events. We always recommend bringing layers to stay warm on cooler nights.

Overseen by Executive Chef Javier Villatoro, private dining in our intimate and warm dining room feature seasonal cuisine and beverage packages that can be customized to dietary needs and preferences. Private dining can include: oyster bar, prix fixe menus, full service cocktail receptions, and family-style gatherings for events of up to 50 people.

Chef Javier and company have rescued/revived the eclectic restaurant scene in Delmar. The oysters and the mignonette: always PERFECTION! The wedge salad with house made bleu cheese and pomegranates: I wanted to lick the plate! The lobster with house made pasta-ate every last delicious bite. Finally...the GOAT CHEESECAKE...sweet and bright, a beautiful presentation including a slice of honeycomb and a hint of sea salt w/pistachios. This dessert is rivaled only by their chocolate crème brûlée and orange blossom cake as one of my top 5 favorite desserts of all time. As always the staff complete the experience. From the moment you arrive until the time you leave, you are their most welcome guest. Thank you Coray Kitchen family!

Coray Kitchen is consistently warm and inviting. It is enjoyable to dine in establishment where the level of food preparation, the knowledge and care of staff and the welcoming environment is …unparalleled. We started with well-made drinks from the bar and enjoyed a conversation with Casey - one of the owners. Then we shared a few small plates: the roasted oyster special, the octopus and, of course, the shrimp in the Cajun cream sauce. We savored them all! During the meal, Zan our upbeat, knowledgeable server, asked if we would like another beverage and then went on to suggest a white wine that paired excellently with our meal. From making a reservation to paying the bill, everything was delightful. Thank you!

The food at Coray is simply spectacular. It is elegantly presented and delicious, with just the right amount of spice and sauce for dishes requiring those elements. Wine pairing suggestions were also on the money, but but the prix fixe suggestion of 4 smaller pours with each course was a little over the top. Much better to just have a glass or two if you don't plan on a whole bottle for your party.

I woke up this morning missing the experience of the night before. From my super tasty mocktail, the excellent and exciting flavor and feel of the champagne sorbet on my salty oysters, and every single bite that followed (beet salad with pickled onions, perfectly cooked, juicy surf and turf with crispy potato gratin) were marvelous. Finishing off the meal with chocolate crème brûlée...you can understand why I woke up wistful about the experience and eager to go go back for more soon!
