Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
Coppa offers a cozy, tapas-style dining experience with "incredible food, ambiance, and friendly service." Despite its small size, the restaurant impresses with standout dishes like the "bucatini pasta" and "hangover pizza." While the atmosphere can be loud, the attentive service and "perfect" desserts make it a must-visit spot.

My husband and I really enjoyed the tapas style food and cozy atmosphere at Coppa. Street parking requires a bit extra time when arriving so I’d plan for that if you’re driving. The burrata was probably close to the best I’ve had. The pizza and pasta did not disappoint. Service was attentive.

Love the food. Absolutely LOVE the gluten-free night. Don’t love the small tables.

Coppa was fabulous from servers to food to wine. Definitely get a reservation, and the tables are best, but the bar seats get a great view of the amazing salad station and skilled bar staff.

This used to be just a terrific place. Now all it is is pizza and pasta. There were no main courses of fish or meat. The quality has gone down …so disappointed …it’s still fine and a lovely neighborhood bistro atmosphere ….service was great, but the quality was poor and the wines were pathetic.

The hangover pizza (available on brunch) is arguably the best pizza in Boston. The ravioli with oxtail and bone marrow ragú is unbelievably good as well. Service is okay, it takes time to be greeted and be poured water though it’s understandable for the size of the waiter’s section. Overall great quality and taste of the food for the price. They also got phenomenal desserts but this time we chose to go to a nearby café post brunch.

Be prepared COPPA is small! So if you’re early there’s nowhere to really stand. The tables are small so also limits space while eating. HOWEVER the food and service more than make up for that. The bucatini pasta is an all time fav, and you can’t go wrong with their pizza!

It was a chilly night and they sat us ( reserved seats ) near an open window. The guests next table did not want the window closed, so the restaurant didn’t close the window. The restaurant was quite loud & I could not hear my dining partner speak. The food was fair, but not great. This used to be a favorite place, but the quality of the experience certainly was in decline last night. This is too bad!!!
