I was very much looking for to Contramar - but it is definitely not worth the hype. There are so many better dining/food experiences in the city. The flavors were dull, the presentation fair - overall just a flat experience. I’m glad I went - but no need to go back.

Everything from the service to food was excellent. The pulpo tacos were a hidden gem and the tuna tostado was so fresh. We will be back!

So delicious! Service was friendly, efficient, professional. Tuna tostadas were divine as was the whole dish with adobo and the parsley rub.

A meal here should not be missed. We started with the tuna tostada, had the octopus aguachile, soft crab tacos, and finished sharing the red and green red snapper. We loved sitting outside and every single member of the waitstaff was super attentive and helpful.

Every time I am in Mexico City, I go to Contramar. The service is always outstanding, friendly, and respectful. The food is always executed perfectly. It's simple, yet the quality of ingredients cannot be any better. A Mexico City institution that deserves it's accolades.
