   This was our first visit to this restaurant. The positives were our waiter Frank was great & very accommodating. We all ordered steaks. The steaks were tender. We also liked that the dinner included sides & was not al la carte like most steak houses. The Boursin steak was ok with a huge pile of fried onions on top. I wouldn’t order again. My husband ordered the blue cheese steak which he enjoyed. We did not care for the Caesar salad dressing at all. We also did not like the Bearnaise sauce, it was more like hollandaise. Overall I would say there are much better steak restaurants in the area so not sure we will go back.

   My lunch was great. They allowed me to substitute a vegetable for the rice. The shrimp were wonderful, as were the Brussels sprouts and creamed spinach. My husband’s steak came medium well instead of medium rare. They brought him another one, prepared correctly. Unfortunately, it had some gristle running through it. He did enjoy it, though.

   Always an enjoyable meal at Connor’s. The steak is perfection along with tender broccoli and delicious mashed potatoes. CJ took good care of us!

   Our favorite restaurant in Sarasota since we moved here 11 years ago. Never a disappointment. Always very fresh food and great service. Always the first place we take friends from out of town and first timers.
