   Nice lunch on the newly rebuilt patio. The Grouper Sandwich was delicious. I especially enjoy your citrus aioli. I wish you could bottle it for home use. The chocolate pie was great as usual. Friendly professional service. Love this neighborhood gem.

   We ordered Brussels sprouts to go without bacon and when we got home there was bacon in them so we had to throw them out. Also, I specifically said we were coming in for a birthday and they didn’t even say happy birthday or bring a dessert for my friend. I was very disappointed with my experience last night.

   The food was good - the four of us shared two small salads (big enough for sharing). Both the Caesar and the Wedge were very good. Then we had the chicken, shrimp and prime rib dinners - all excellent. Wines were also good. The one hiccup - we had barely gotten our salads when a server asst. plopped all the entrees on our table. REALLY annoying when this happens - there is no positive outcome. So pacing sucked. It’s also a bit noisy for a relaxing dinner.

   Dinner for six- it was very busy as expected as the tourists roll in and extremely loud. We were a a huge table near the front window and although we had plenty of room, between the broad table of 6’ or so and the noise level, conversation was sometimes a challenge. Our server Brandon was attentive and patient as we took forever to order but food came out quickly and was well presented. Rare prime rib was great and they brought a lovely birthday desert. Absolutely a return visit before holidays!

   We’ve been here before, and I am sad to say that this was definitely the worst it’s ever been, which is unfortunate. We will not go back . Not only did we not have a server that basically the person who was giving us water and ended up being a server because we not once saw our server. Everybody else around us was getting a server and we literally did not have a server. The next thing that was insanely frustrating was we placed our kids dinner right away and again we kept seeing everybody else getting their food and we still didn’t have food for our kids. After the kids finally came with us checking with the beverage server who was essentially who is helping us ,. When the food for the boys came it was comical, Literally it was one and a half nugget, I even asked the manager and he said 2 nuggets is all they get! Who does that on a children menu. And my other child got the butter noddles, and there was no butter so bland. I then ordered another set of chicken tenders which I had to ask about 10 times, and they didn’t come so we ordered a large chicken tenders for adults and that only comes with 5. So 2 for kids and 5 for adults, I had to order 3 sets to feed my 4 and 7 year old, yet the whole plate was filled with fries. My food that came was cold. It was a horrible experience will not go back.

   We had a very nice meal at CBPH. We started with an appetizer of roasted brussel sprouts, which were excellent (and it was a large portion, enough for 4-6 people). I had the fried shrimp platter, which was very good. Shrimp were large and very crispy. Shattered fries were also very good. My wife had the short ribs, which made the rest of us jealous. Highly recommend the short ribs. My mother had the pork milanese, which was good, but too much for her (served on a platter). Our server was PJ, who was pleasant and very informative. Don't leave before sharing a piece of coconut cream pie! Or, don't share it?

   Loved dining at the new Collins Brother Public House. My husband and I each had hamburgers - both were perfectly cooked medium rare. The shattered fries and onion rings were delicious. We will be back.
