Christina and Mike Grant, the owners of Coastal Kitchen, have created an experience that will delight and satisfy the most discerning guest. Fueled by their passion for food and a love of hospitality, the Grants have established Coastal Kitchen as the go-to spot in Dana Point. The menu is clean and fresh consisting of fish and steaks cut in house, great salads, freshly ground burgers and more. Coastal Kitchen has a full bar, patio with fire pits, and fresh coastal design.

Our mission is to deliver a quality dining experience in a comfortable, friendly atmosphere with a consistency that will bring guests back again and again. We look forward to serving you.

    Always like the Coastal Kitchen. This is the first time I walked away thinking it was so-so. Likely from what I ordered. Maybe the drizzly weather was a factor in my mood because I have previously gone on beautiful sunny days. I ordered the glazed rotisserie chicken and broccoli Parmesan. The chicken was just not special. I found the Parmesan a bit strong for my taste buds and would have preferred the broccoli with out it. My son on the other hand ordered the rib eye and was very happy with it. He also ordered to rolls which he devoured. I will definitely be back, but will steer clear of the chicken.

    Coastal Kitchen is fantastic. Sophie our waitress was wonderful! It was busy so it took about 10 minutes to get my cocktail but after that, all went smoothly. In fact, Sophie arranged for us to move to a larger table that opened up. Her recommendations on the crab cakes was spot on! I tried a few bites of the Hawaiian ribeye as well and it’s amazing. They have a great variety of appetizers and entrees. This is the second time I’ve eaten there and I’m impressed again.

    The manager helped me set up a very cool surprise for my wife's 50th Birthday dinner. Thank you very much! Food is always great! We love this place!

    I have been a customer for several years. The food and service is all excellent. Like almost everywhere else, the prices have gone up, but this restaurant is usually mt first choice for good food and service.

    We love that we can always count on a terrific meal at Coastal Kitchen. Tonight our party had their fabulous pork chops, and delicious halibut and salmon. We also love how the layout of the restaurant creates a much quieter environment, even when full and hopping with happy diners, … which is most of the time.
