Open since 2010, Claire's Kitchen creates an authentic and familiar French experience that keeps bringing customers back.

Situated between Surry Hills and Darlinghurst over 2 levels. The ground level is reserved for classic dinner experience while the mezzanine level hosts Cabaret Nights from Tuesday to Sunday or private functions at request.

Former TV chef Marc Kuzma (aka Claire de Lune) lets his talents shine at his Darlinghurst venture. Step through the doors from Oxford Street, and enter a world of glamour, decadence and French chic. Soaring ceilings, imported wallpapers, glittering chandeliers, white linen, black Louis XV chairs and French antiques will make you feel like you're world's away from the chaos of the bustling street outside. Oh oui, nous aimons que….(we love that!). Charming French waiters warmly welcome patrons at Claire' and the brasserie classics with contemporary touches are done with true French finesse. It's French chic at its best.

    All of the entree and desserts we had were lovely. Sadly, the 2 x $110 share beef we ordered for a party of 4 left much to be desired. As regular French diners around Sydney it didn’t live up to our expectation’s at all. It was our first time here and We didn’t have any other mains at our table so we have nothing to compare to.

    Everything was good, food, wine, service. White tablecloths were lovely. However there was something missing to make it exceptional - I don’t know if it was the other diners, or whether the food lacked a major wow factor, or whether there needed to be more burgundy on the wine list. The snails were the highlight - absolutely incredible. Mains were good but desserts were lacking finesse.

    I have never been disappointed with a night out at Claire's Kitchen. Whether it's cabaret upstairs or a romantic dinner this place it's the perfect choice. Foods great and the staff are lovely. If you feel like splashing out grab a wine from Claire's vintage cellar.
