A unique menu, even for NYC, with unusual offerings. A culturally rich setting. Lots of meat offerings, reflecting a Mediterranean-type setting (lamb, creamy cheeses, spices), excellent pita-style bread fresh off the oven that we couldn't stop eating, dumplings. It was fun and easy to share among the 4 of us with 2 appetizers, 1 (large) salad, and 3 main courses. The Fli was the big disappointment -- soggy, tasteless. The dessert -- a kind of Tres Leches cake -- tasted meh, a bit old; very disappointing, since it ended an otherwise very good meal on a blah note. Be sure to get the Ajvak and the pickled pepper with cheese, as well as the Matia. We'll definitely return. It's a very unusual place to take out-of-towners, by the way.

Great food, the waiter had to put up with some BS from our table asking what is Dua Lipa’s favourite dish (sorry!)
