   I like to plan ahead for certain events because I know how busy businesses get. We showed up 15 minutes early to our reservation to check in so the staff knows we made an effort to show up early and don’t have to wonder if we are a now show. Told the check in employee that we were there and that we’ll wait outside until our reservations were ready. I understand waiting 10 minutes for our seats while staff cleans and sets up our table. We waited over 40 minutes for our reservation while other parties got seated on later reservations. Even a group of four got seated before us when their reservation was later. The lady even had time to go outside and make a phone call for 10 minutes after they got seated. I was being patient and tried to be understanding and didn’t want to stress the staff out more. We eventually got seated after I had to ask how much longer it would be, we were the last party standing outside before we got seated. I was so upset that I didn’t even order a drink, we were holding off on eating because we wanted to enjoy the food. Once seated we waited another 15 minutes for a waiter. We ordered the zucchini and it came cold and the cheese wasn’t melted so we didn’t eat it. Our dishes finally arrived and gave us the wrong plates and the food was cold, so I let my family pick what they wanted from the plates they brought us because we didn’t want to wait anymore for service. When we go to dinners we’ll spend around $300+ with food and drinks. This was the first time I wanted to leave a restaurant as soon as possible. Felt like a second class citizen with less than mediocre service. I was looking forward to dinner here, that I even had called a week ahead to ensure our reservation was still booked.

   Nice pasta restaurant that's worth fighting the LA traffic. Wides election of pasta, vegan friendly. Best of all plenty parking for free.

   Very great experience was seated right away . Service was on point very attentive and the flavor on the food was spot on. Definitely coming back to try more items on the menu .

   Excellent food. The short rib ragu and boar ragu pastas are wonderful as are their salads. The beet salad with toasted walnuts is excellent and some of the best burrata caprese I have had.

   We had been wanting to try this place for a while and Dine L.A. Week gave us the opportunity to do it. The food was great. The bag of warm focaccia with homemade pesto to start was a nice touch. The flavor of the short rib ragú was very well developed and the texture of the pasta was perfect. We especially enjoyed the branzino carpaccio- so fresh and tasty. And the pistachio profiteroles were incredible. All of the service staff were lovely and friendly but they could have used another person on this busy night. The place is clean and inviting with cute twinkly lights and a pretty wine wall. I felt the tables for 2 along the back where we sat were too close together so we were unable to tune out the conversation next to us.

   Civico 2064 is one of my go-to spots in L.A., and for good reason! This authentic Italian restaurant offers some of the most delicious pastas you'll ever taste. The vibe is fantastic, making it a great place to unwind and enjoy a meal. The service is always on point, with friendly and attentive staff. A special mention to Steffano, who made our dining experience even more enjoyable with his charming conversation. If you're a wine lover like me, don't miss out on their excellent selection, especially the Primitivo—my personal favorite. I highly recommend Civico 2064 to anyone looking for an authentic Italian dining experience in Los Angeles. 🍷🍝

   This was our first time dining at Civico. It came highly recommended by one of our friends. I read the reviews on line and almost everyone raved over the food. The only complaints were about the noise level and the slowness of service. We concur with previous reviews that the noise level was high and service was slow. Our greatest disappointment was the food. They served focaccia bread with pesto . The foccacia was good but the pesto had no salt in it. That was the theme of the meal. We all ordered different pastas. The pastas were cooked well but again, there was absolutely no salt in any dish. My wife ordered the holiday special with lobster. The lobster was undercooked. My daughter ordered the spaghetti limone e gamberi. It was pasta with a cheese sauce that tasted like baby food. There was not even a hint of lemon or salt in it. My knife had dirt on it and I had to ask for it to be changed. When the waiter cleaned our table, he smeared the debris on it rather than cleaning it. The best thing was the Burratta. We did not order dessert since we were not pleased with the meal! So overall, it was a very disappointing experience and we will not be going back.
