   While we thought the food was lovely and the service, efficient and friendly, the noise level was unacceptable. We were at a table for six in the middle room, and it was very difficult to hear one another speak. It’s not a pleasant evening when one has to yell most of the time. As all the other diners were doing the same, we have made the decision not to return despite the good food.

   Hi, we live here locally and Palencia country club and have eaten at some of the finest restaurants in Saint Augustine in Jacksonville and were told by the colleagues and general management at Blackfly recommended your restaurant highly the food was outstanding. Pasha was a terrific server. We also met your host Yancey overall a great experience. We really look forward to coming back. We didn’t get to spend enough time there. We were attending a concert at the Florida theater and really just feast it on appetizers but looking forward to a great meal in the future respectfully Michael andI Kypriss

   Great service, the best we’ve had in Jax, from the maitre d’ to the valet parking. We ordered salad (very tasty seasoning) and fish, salmon and flounder, all of which were very well done and very fresh. The sides were a bit on the salty side for the broccolini on the flounder and on the excessive sweetness for the salmon sauce, but did not spoil the overall experience at all. For seafood, salad and wine the value was on par with the prices. It was a very nice surprise to find they had Huguel Pinot Gris on wine by the glass, a great Alsacian product. It is not very commonly offered and it was at a very good price. We will return.

    Very loud despite a smaller dining room. Mussels with chorizo appetizer was excellent. Ceasar salad was fresh and crunchy with a great flavor. The fruiti de mar and grouper entrees were excellent with large portions perfectly prepared. The shrimp were juice and firm and the scallop lightly caramelized
