Cioppino is a local gem, tucked away in the Strip District that has been serving steak and seafood classics for more a decade. We offer a refreshing take on fine dining staples and a rotating selection of one-of-a-kind features.
Some of our favorites include our Dollar Oyster Nights on Tuesday, Live Music on Saturdays, and our Thursday Night Whiskey Flights.
Open Tuesday - Thursday from 4-10 PM (dinner 5-9 PM) and Friday - Saturday from 4-11 PM (dinner 5-10 PM), stop in and try what Thrillist calls the Best Steak in Pittsburgh. Located at 2350 Railroad St.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Cioppino Restaurant. However, based on the reviews we read, we felt that they did not accurately reflect the overall cost of the dining experience. While the atmosphere was pleasant, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The final bill was higher $$$$ than we anticipated. It is important for reviews to provide a more honest assessment of costs to help future diners manage their expectations.     Walked is with a reservation to be told “we have your reservation, but no table”. Sat us down eventually and told us we need to be done by 7pm. Waited 20min for drinks and 10 more minutes for silverware AFTER our food came!!! Manager kept on walking by and obviously not caring to help staff or customers. 300$ later left with a pretty wild experience for the level of this restaurant. Still processing it….

    Food is always great. Going out to eat anywhere good with ambiance is expensive. Love this place. Going there for over 20 years. Bar is a little noisy but I like the action. Main dining room is quiet

    The ambiance is absolutely amazing, and the food is superb. The service is always top notch, and the table touches by the executive chef makes the experience all the better.

    The service was very good, attentive and professional. The short ribs and accompaniments were excellent. The cioppino was below average. It did not have a variety of seafood and contained mostly a white fish which was dry. However, the broth was tasty.

    Our server was wonderful. Knew the menu very well, answered every question and offered great advice on our meals and wine pairings. Some menu items are a bit overpriced and I’m coming from NYC for comparison. Overall a good restaurant when you want a fine meal.
