The food was delicious and deserves 4 stars but rated 2 because the service was so bad. The waiter took our order and never came back. The women from the kitchen got us water and got us another round of drinks. We waved at the waiter to get our dinner plates taken away and get a dessert menu. Waiter never came back to take dessert order so we got up went to the bar to get the check.

We both had 2 different fish dishes. They were a bit overcooked, but the sauces were good.

First, the outdoor space is great. And the location was perfect for a pre-show dinner for an event at the Palace. Intimate and yet open. Next, the margaritas are great. Then, to round out the first impressions, the plantain chips - made fresh daily in-house are the best chips I’ve had. The chips with the salsa fresca are a show stopper. For dinner we went the tapas route and it was all delicious. The flavors were subtle and different and oh so good. The Gambas were tender and the sauce was so good I wanted to lick the plate. The empanadas were the best I’ve ever had, thinnest masa and amazing fillings. I was hesitant about the pata paired with a guava sauce but it totally made the dish. Top the meal off with warm churros and I was a happy camper. Definitely check this place out. Great, uniquely flavorful food and wonderful service.
