   I was visiting from overseas and brought my mum here expecting authentic Italian cuisine. We both ordered seafood risotto. What we actually received was soup with clumps of overcooked rice. We raised this with one of the waiters who agreed that it did not normally look like this and he said he would speak to his manager. We waited for 45 minutes at which point I approached a waitress asking where the waiter had gone. She told us that he had been sent upstairs. I explained what had happened and a manager came to us apologising for all that had happened. He removed one of the risottos from the bill and said that next time everything wound be perfect. I explained that he had not provided me with any incentive to return and he should have perhaps offered us a complimentary meal so they could prove themselves. Sadly he failed to understand this and I politely advised him that as he had failed to reassure me I wound not be returning to the restaurant.

   Service was ok - not very attentive as they were busy - food was nice but my fillet steak was quite cold - 2 starters 2 mains and a of wine was approximately £200 .

    Excellent food and friendly efficient service. If I lived in Wilmslow I would come to this restaurant regularly
