Great bar and space…mediocre at best food. $25 burger…they should make their own fries rather than buying from the same frozen supplier as Carl’s Jr.

If you prefer non-alcoholic beverages, they get you by serving soda in small glasses and charging $4 for each refill, so you spend the equivalent of a glass of wine or cocktail on a product that costs them less (soda). Server was too busy - she tried but was overall inattentive. The food was very good.

Overall, in spite of some glitches, we enjoyed our Xmas Eve dinner at Church & Union. Our waiter was very pleasant and helpful with menu items, especially one of our party's special allergy concerns. Unfortunately, as hard as he worked to keep up with all the tables under his command, there was just too much for one person to stay on top of. After placing our initial order, the chef discovered that one of the entrees would create an allergic reaction for the diner who ordered it (after having cleared the entree with the waiter), so a replacement entree was ordered. Somehow the overall order for our table got mixed up in the process. The replacement order was delivered to our table by another staff member, but then we waited for the other entrees for over 15 minutes until our waiter discovered that they were not delivered. It took another ten minutes or more for these to arrive.
Our filets and especially the ravioli entree were good. The ambiance was conducive to festive holiday conversation with moderate noise level. The staff was very friendly.
We will likely give Church & Union another try, and hope that some of the wrinkles are ironed out.

Delicious Christmas Eve dinner. Portions are big…we ordered way too much! The hand braided ravioli with sausage was our fav, but the seasonal lobster tortellini appetizer was a close second. Super cool vibe, great experience!
