We went here after we got engaged! They hooked us up with some champagne and gave us plenty of space for conversation! It was a little loud but that’s expected in a space that large and open! Very fun ambiance!

Very cool interior and vibe. Great service from our waitperson and the bar staff. Cocktails were a little disappointing but the wine selections were great. Food was amazing. My only complaint is our reservation was at 8:15 and because the previous table would not leave we did not get our table until 8:40.

Bartender didn’t know how to make a proper New York Sour (for the price, she should’ve). Food was average-above average. Server did not ask if we wanted an additional cocktail/wine/beer even though I finished my drink before we ordered entrees. Lastly, on a piece of artwork, there was an upside down pentagram (a symbol of Satanism), which gives very bad vibes in a “church vibe” restaurant.

The most disappointing dining experience I have ever overpaid for. Every reservation including our was late to sit and the hostess told all guests that “their” table was just paying the bill or finishing dessert. We were seated 30 min after our reservation including a side annex room that lacked any ambiance of the main church room. Our waitress was lovely but the food was meh at best and over priced even for Charleston. Such a disappointing way to start our vacation. No idea what the hype is all about except a cool building.

We had a great time here. The food is delicious, with a mix of traditional Southern dishes like fried chicken and more modern plates, like the french onion agnolotti appetizer which is absolutely amazing. The ambiance is great and very Charleston, a mix of modern inside with the architecture and stained glass windows of the old church. It’s also very conveniently located in the main tourist area but do make a reservation. Overall highly recommend for a nice dinner in Charleston.

Food was great. We sat outside which was nice and private but think the indoor seating may have been better ambiance.

We went for lunch for my mom’s birthday and it was a wonderful meal. Our waiter, Sam, was excellent and very personable. We will definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
