    We celebrated my son’s birthday at Chops Atlanta, as he specifically requested a Wagyu steak. The steak was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and absolutely delicious. The crab cake appetizer was equally impressive and I highly recommended. Our server, Chris, was exceptional—attentive, accommodating, and thoughtful in addressing our dietary restrictions.

    I usually have a great experience at Chop's, in fact it's one of my favorite restaurants. This time they fell short. The spinach salad wasn't done well tableside; everyone was in a hurry. Wine ordered during appetizers never arrived until our main meal basically finished at which point I canceled it. Meal tasted good even though my steak came out rare (ordered medium rare, first time they've messed this up) but made me extremely sick. Overall, this is still a great restaurant, but the service has gone downhill over the years and apparently they are teaching new chefs how to use their equipment.

    We arrived approximately 10 minutes early for our 6 o'clock reservation. We were greeted with warm smiles and escorted to our table. Our excellent serve staff were Imari and Larry. They both greeted us with "Happy 38th Anniversary," and said, "Welcome to Chops." We ordered Calamari as our appetizer, and our entree selections were, the NY strip and Lamb Chops, with Lobster Mac and Cheese, and Mushrooms. Our food was prepared to our desired taste. Imari and Larry continued to check on us, and they were, by far, our absolute best serve staff of 2024. Please pass our thanks to both Imari and Larry for their excellent service. Greg and Benita

    They were understaffed for Christmas Eve lunch service. Server was great but he was run ragged. The lobster bisque was cold and the 8oz filet was fine, but not up to Chops’ standards.
