Dreadful, expensive food. I feel so annoyed that I had to pay for this meal. The food was tasteless and so overpriced. The staff were friendly but not enough to compensate for the food.

A caprese empanada? What Italian / Argentinian bastardisation was this? Of course, after meeting the ever cheerful chef, Dario from Turin, it made more sense. My Polish partner loved it… but I’ll stick to the delicious beef version. Alongside the empanadas we has sweetbreads with chimichurri, perfectly cooked and delicious. After that the ribeye, cod and octopus with polenta. I couldn’t fault a single dish! Paola, our Ecuadorian waitress was brilliant. Chatty and friendly, she happily explained individual ingredients in the spicy version of the chimichurri sauce and the cooking techniques. The ribeye was butter soft and the octopus perfectly charred from the flame. Wines were reasonably priced for London and unsurprisingly an Argentinian Malbec worked very well. We came after the theatre at 9.30, so it was fairly late, but it was also a Thursday night, yet the restaurant was very quiet. Given the quality of the food and service I can only assume that either we were just unlucky, or that this is a result of current economic conditions. Whichever it is, this restaurant deserves to be full all the time.

A bit disapointing on the food front. Nice atmosphere and good service but no love in the food. Vegetables not seasoned at all, salad was a bowl of cheap, halved cherry tomatoes and leaves from a bag with no dressing. Chips were soggy. The cheese started was a plate of average melted cheese. The meat was good (although cooked rare rather than requested medium rare) but there is no love in the cooking here. Someone does't really care. Probably wont go back.

When we arrived the staff approached us immediately and offered us a choice of seats. They were friendly and attentive throughout the whole meal and even gave us a complimentary glass of Prosecco each. My girlfriend really enjoyed her ribeye. I found my short rib to be slightly undercooked for my liking but overall the quality of the food was very good. The bill was very reasonable and less than we expected. Overall it was very enjoyable experience, I shall definitely go back and would gladly recommend CHIMICHURRIS to a friend.

The staff were amazing, they were really attentive of the plates and food. It’s my first going and went for my dad’s birthday, they gave a desert in the house and sung happy birthday to my dad. The food portions were really very big, good money for values. They really care about their customers enjoying the food and atmosphere. I will definitely be going there.
