Heralded as a "meat speakeasy" by Food & Wine Magazine, chi SPACCA has come to represent the quintessential new Italian dining experience, where accompaniments like the Foccacia di Recco, warm salted Medjool dates, and Culatello & Puglia burrata are just sideshows for the rest of Chef Armen Ayvazyan's wood-fired menu which features a 42-ounce Tomahawk pork chop, a 36-ounce dry-aged bone-in New York Costata alla Fiorentina, and a 50-ounce dry-aged porterhouse Bistecca Fiorentina.

Enchanted by the artistry of Italian salumi culture, we built the first “dry cure” program in Los Angeles so that we could experiment and perfect Italian charcuterie techniques in house.

    It's expensive but you're paying for attention to the smallest detail. Supurb meal every time. Last night I finally tried their signature bone marrow pie. As you might guess it's extremely rich. Do not fail to order the focaccia. It's a work of art. Sat at the chef's counter and finally got to see what it takes to achieve this perfection

    Stellar food and service. There are heavier and lighter paths through the menu as well. We had the big pork chop, and it was excellent. The branzino was delicious. The chicory salads is simply one of the best salads Ive ever had. Always get the focaccia. Shoutout to Daniel for amazing service and wine reco’s.

    Should not have sat people outside. It was too windy, cold and the only other table who also sat outside was asking to be moved indoors. The menus and tarps kept blowing and knocked over a stool. They did move us about an hour in, which was great, food is delicious as always.

    This was an excellent dining experience. I don't eat meat but was fascinated watching the chefs as they cooked giant shareable portions of beef. It was sheer artistry. Everything we ordered was delicious...Olives, salads, burrata and bread, stuffed zucchini flowers, Bronzino. And of course a dessert and quite a bit of wine! I loved everything about this restaurant, even though I don't eat meat. We'll be back! Truly Spectacular!

    Excellent prosciutto, anchovy/butter on toast, Allegrino Rossi Di Montalcino 2022, tomahawk pork chop - these were excellent! The cast iron pan cauliflower was good. The charred octopus was a bit over charred for my son’s taste.

    Chi Spacca is my favorite restaurant and I don't go often enough. It holds a very special place in my heart. Don't miss burger night; best burger I've ever had! The milk roast pork loin is to die for and my first love is the Pollo alla diavola su Crostone is my first love. And you'll need to order two Focaccia di Recco . . . just sayin'. I have never had a bad meal or bad service at Chi Spacca. Everything is top notch. My favorite spot is at the cook's counter. Enjoy!!
