Known for fusing fresh Hawaii ingredients with the exotic flavors of Asia, Chef Chai has created a culinary style that reflects the cultural diversity of Oahu and the Hawaiian Islands.

To further strengthen the partnership with Hawaii’s local farmers and fishermen, Chef Chai co-founded Hawaii Island Chefs (HIC), the second generation of Hawaii Regional Cuisine Chefs. This group of HIC chefs is on a mission to provide the world with the best of Hawaii’s diverse culinary resources from the culture of the people and the bounty of the land and sea.

    Firstly, Tim was very personable, attentive and gave us excellent service. We had the Honolulu Restaurant week menu which was onolicious and excellent portion sizes. Our Aussie guests were so impressed with the food and vowed to come back to visit just to dine here again!!! Great compliments to Chef Chai who was there chipping to help bus tables as well…!!! 👍👏👏

    My husband and I went for a wonderful "Restaurant Week" dinner this past Friday. What a fabulous deal! (Too bad they don't offer this every week. HAHAHAHA!!) Those lamb chops are SO delicious, and the assorted appetizers are always such a treat! We've enjoyed Chef Chai's for many, many years. It never disappoints. We were lucky enough this time to be entertained by the one, the only, Melveen Leed, who played a brief, but lovely, piano set for the diners. Who could ask for more?!?!?

    You always get a lot of bang for your buck when you eat here. I also really love the fact that Chef Chai is very much still involved with the operations of the restaurant. He works hard and make sure his food is on point
