   Honestly disappointed by our experience today. They were running seriously behind, even though we had made reservations. We had 6 different “servers” throughout the night with very intermittent service & long wait times. It was a lot of money for a mediocre pre-fixed menu & chaotic experience. Our Christmas dinner choices were between CH and red lobster; I think we made the wrong choice.

   The service was excellent. We opted for prime rib and were not disappointed. Chart House lived up to previous ratings.

   WE HAVE BEEN COMING TO THE CHART HOUSE FOR MANY YEARS, BOTH IN THIS LOCATION IN SAVANNAH AND IN OTHERS AROUND THE COUNTRY SUCH AS BOSTON, ANNAPOLIS AND WEEHAWKEN. TODAY'S MEAL WAS SPECIAL BECAUSE OF THE HOLIDAY AND THE QUALITY AND VALUE. WE CAN'T WAIT TO COME BACK.

   Food and servers where fine, but got stuck in the bar area despite having a reservation. Area was not that nice, drafty with the door, and it felt like we were an afterthought as most of the attention was on the main portion of the restaurant.

   We had reservation at 8:30pm and did not get seated until 9pm, then we did not get our food until 10pm. The food was not great and definitely not worth the cost. My daughter’s salmon was raw and pasta was not cooked long enough (crunchy). My salad was browning. The only thing good was the coconut shrimp appetizer and the New England Clam chowder. The server was amazing but food and wait was terrible.

   When my family decided to meet in Savannah for Christmas there was no question where we would go for Christmas Eve dinner. I booked the reservation at the Chart House 45-60 days in advance. It was totally ruined by the arrogant, nasty, rude HOUSTON J. MURRAY. There was a limited menu which I do not recall it being posted when I made reservations. When I expressed my disappointment to the server she immediately asked if I wanted to speak to the manager (it must be common that guests at this restaurant are not happy based on how quickly she offered to send over the manager). General Manager HOUSTON J.MURRAY came over and was insistent that it was on the booking site and his voice and mannerism exuded disdain. I have been to Chart House all over this country, the most recent a fantastic experience at the Monterrey CA location. I’ve been to this one in Savannah probably 10 times over the last 15+years. I’m sure HOUSTON J. MURRAY has a place in the restaurant business but I’m thinking maybe a Waffle House or Kentucky Fried Chicken. You would think he could bring himself to say “I’m sorry there was a misunderstanding”. But he couldn’t bring his self-absorbed self to even go there. And I noted on Christmas Eve at 7:45 there were a number of empty tables. There may well be a correlation.

   Dined here Christmas Eve. The food was excellent, and the ambience is spot on where you can actually have a table conversation without yelling. Kudos to the Chart House for managing holiday bookings.

   Service was not up to par!! I’ve definitely had better! Very, very slow to get drinks and courses! I understand it was Christmas Eve, but still! Should have been better prepared! Prime Rib was cold but we dare not send it back! We were starving!

    It was Xmas Eve, fixed menu, so expectations weren't to high. My wife had the clam chowder, 2 lobster tails, and chocolate cake. All were good. I had the lobster bisque, mahi, (blackened) and chocolate cake. I enjoyed it all. It took just about 2 hours for our dinner. Our server was very good and kept checking with us thruout. As I said, Xmas eve, so a bit hectic. Would I go back? Certainly.
