   Gran opción para comer en Monterey. Lugar muy agradable. La carta no es muy extensa y con oferta mayormente de pescados y mariscos aunque también ofrece buenos cortes de carnes. La carta de vinos amplia y muy bien surtida. La preparación y sabor de los platillos es muy buena y el servicio amable y atento. Vale la pena reservar.

   We all had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, the service outstanding and we truly enjoyed celebrating 2 family birthdays at the Chart House , Monterey. Our little dogs also enjoyed some prime rib afterward. Everyone was happy!

   I ordered off the Special $79 dollar holiday menu & ordered NY strip steak & Caesar Salad. Both the steak & salad were sub par & the price of the meal much too high. The NY strip used to be excellent but the quality of meat has gone downhill since the pandemic. Very disappointing!

   The food and service were outstanding. The salad bar was very good and filling. I would highly recommend Chart House to everyone

   Elysia (not sure on spelling) was a great waitress offering several spot on recommendations. We joined the Landry’s Club based upon her suggestion.

   We went to chart house on New Years Eve with our family. Our food was excellent but our server was average. She seemed so busy she never came back for soft drink refills or even asked if my husband and I wanted another glass of wine. We had to ask for an iced tea refill for my daughter. We didn’t get the bread basket ever other table seemed to get and it would have been helpful for my grandchildren who were waiting for their dinner. We plan this vacation a year ago I made reservations in October with plenty of time to get into the chart house. We choose you every time we come to Monterey. And while, I will return . This was not the best experience I’ve ever had. When my husband and I come as a couple, the service is always excellent. Of course I’m assuming that maybe it’s easier with just two people as opposed to a table of six. I will say I was disappointed because I wanted my family to have as great as an experience as I have had in the past.

   On a busy New Years Eve at 4:30 pm, that atmosphere was festive and happy! Our reservation table was in an excellent spot to view Monterey Bay. The staff were excellent taking care of all the patrons. Food was very tasty and the wait staff was flying around helping everyone. Alyssa took care of us, as she had at previous visits to the Chart House. Excellent Lobster and the chosen menu had many choices. Great refreshments also!! Fun way to end 2024!!

    Overall, the experience was good. The menu was fixed at $79 for four courses. The Kim Chee calamari and vegetable appetizer was excellent. We also ordered a crab cake appetizer ($22 add on) and it was just okay. It was a bit dry and a little fishy tasting. We both had Caesar salad and it was good. I had the filet mignon and it was very good though I do one at home that is at least as good. She had the sea bass and lobster risotto ($59) and the fish was dry. She had cheese cake for dessert and I had the lava cake. Both were very good. She had two glasses of Chardonnay and I had three glasses of Prosecco & Champagne. We tipped well including the hostess, who seated us at one of their best window 4 tops with an ocean view. The entire experience was $428, which is the most the two of us have ever spent for dinner. Our server Damien, who has served us in the past was excellent. They were out of two sparkling wine by the glass menu items, which forced me to select a more expensive option. I thought this particularly odd being that it was New Years Eve. Overall, 3 Stars out of 4.
