    This is the third time we’ve gone to the chart house on Christmas Day. I’m always impressed by how professional and upbeat the staff is, and I appreciate how they make the day feel special for us.

    Christmas Eve dinner. Great menu and service. I had the salmon and my wife the twin lobster tails. Very happy Charthouse is so close to us.

    The entire restaurant power went out during our dinner. Evidently this happens in Genesee at least once a month. they served our dinner in candlelight. Steak and Salmon were excellent, but potatoes were cold, no extra vegetables that we ordered, and no discount or apology. They ned to treat their customers better. Serving food in Candlelight, that had issues - and we mentioned them, but still charging the customer full price? Not right.

    This used to be a Colorado gem, but we recently went for a birthday dinner and were disappointed. The service was good, but food was sub par and getting drinks/food took forever. We waited almost 2 hours to get our food, and when we did, the order was wrong. It was also unbearably hot and uncomfortable.

    This restaurant used to be our go-to spot for special occasions like anniversaries, proms, or birthdays, but it feels like it’s lost its way. The experience was underwhelming, and it seems the restaurant isn’t sure what it wants to be anymore. The food was mediocre—edible, but nowhere near worth the $400 price tag for five people (and that didn’t even include alcohol). The salad bar was particularly disappointing—wilted, dry, and nothing remotely fresh. It honestly looked like leftovers from the previous night. And this was at 4:30 PM, so I can’t imagine how it held up during the dinner rush. While there wasn’t anything disastrously wrong, there wasn’t anything memorable or enticing enough to bring us back. It’s disappointing because we used to love this place. Now, it feels more like a dated, small country club dining experience. Hopefully, this helps some of you when deciding where to eat.

    Oysters were tiny, dried out and stuck in the shell; we sent them back. Lamb chop was fatty and poorly trimmed…was expecting something more elegant for $50! (And only two chops.) We used to enjoy stopping here on our way through Denver, but this location, at least, has fallen very far, in our eyes. This restaurant wouldn’t last two months in the Twin Cities, where we live.
