   We have been coming here for years and I would say after last night never again, it’s a shame because the view is amazing but that’s it at this point ! Our server was nice he was new but it wasn’t his fault , it’s the kitchen and the management! Our food was cold and not prepared correctly, the sea bass was so salty it wasn’t even edible and the baked potato was cold and we had to send it back ! Our food took a hour and a half to get our entree that is just not okay , it was a dinner to celebrate our anniversary and we didn’t even get a dessert after all of that ! Wow is all I can say ! I don’t think we will go back , this is the like the 3rd time maybe 4th that things haven’t gone well ! The excuse was given last night that they had a large wedding , our dinner reservation was 6.30 pm . Just so disappointing.

   Poor service. Waiter was rushed and zero flow of welcoming, drinks, order and always said he would be right back only to disappear for a longer period… Food was on point and the view is always outstanding!

   We celebrated our eighth wedding anniversary here as part of our trip down memory lane from when we had first visited eight years ago, a couple months before our wedding. It’s still the same as it always was, with great food, great service, and the most amazing views!

   We had a large dinner party of 11 people meeting and the Chart House was wonderful about providing a round view table so that we could all talk to each other without needing to shout down the length of a long table. Some of our party ordered 3-crse meals, which is a great deal at the Chart House (choice of appetizer, choice of entree, and a mini chocolate lava cake for dessert). Others ordered different appetizers and an entree. While some ordered an entree only. Basically, a server's nightmare trying to time what to serve when to whom, and our server did an amazing job. The only downside to the entire lovely dinner was the music is cranked up too high and drowns out conversation.

   This restaurant has a fantastic happy hour! So I had made a reservation during the happy hour slot and requested the patio/bar. When it came time for my reservation, I was told the patio/bar was open seating meaning my reservation didn’t count. We ended up having to wait for a bit to get a table because of this. When we did get a table, the food was excellent, view was great, and happy hour value was nice! Just wish I would’ve known in advance that reservations aren’t honored for happy hour which is the 4/5 stars

   We celebrated our anniversary last night at the Chart House DP. It was a delicious meal and excellent service. Beautiful view of the harbor and Christmas lights.

   We didn’t even order, because our server informed us that they were completely out of steak, and all they had in that category was prime rib, which we do not eat. We went to The Chart House to celebrate my husband’s birthday specifically for the filet mignon. What a huge disappointment! We can understand running out of a special fish or dessert, but it’s hard to understand how you be all out of steak. We left .
