    We had a fantastic dinner while vacationing in Boston. We had the king crab, a filet, salmon and the Boston scrod. The service was impeccable and the restaurant is just beautiful inside. A must visit for anyone!

    Chart House exceeded our expectations. The ambience was amazing. Beautiful, historic, rustic charm with refined finishes. The food was exceptional. With 15 people in our party, there were a wide variety of appetizers, chowders, main dishes and desserts ordered & shared. Our entire party agreed the food was exceptional and all were impressed. Many dishes were said to be the best they’d ever had. The wait staff was also exceptional. Attentive, kind, & went above and beyond to assure our experience was top notch.

    This was our second year going to the Chart House for NYEve. Last year was really nice. The food and service was top notch. We decided to go again and were super disappointed. The appetizer was missing the goat cheese. The lobster bisque had no lobster at all and was served in a small bowl. The steaks were kinda all over the place. Mine was quite charred on the outside while others at the table had there's cooked as they should have been. The dish itself looked unappealing. The biggest disappointment was the lava cake. It was hard as a rock, crumbly and literally had no melted center at all. It was a tough tasteless cake. Service was ok. The server didn't seem like he wanted to be there and seemed tired. He kept disappearing even though the restaurant wasn't even close to as full as last year. The only good thing was we got to hang out before the fireworks. Not sure we will return again.

    This was a dinner on New Year’s Eve, and I think they did very good job. The only thing that I would suggest, and this is a situation at other Chart Houses, is to clear the table before dessert is being served and / or your next course as were eating cheesecake with bread in front of us and a salad. 🤷‍♀️ We are used to a waterfront view since all of the other Chart Houses that we have eaten at from California to New Jersey includes that. Realize this was an old historic building, but we kind of missed that ambience..

    The best NYE dining experience in years! We were seated on time, service was excellent and the dinners were delicious, as usual. What amazed us was how coordinated and pleasant the staff was on such a busy night. The overall vibe was perfect!
