   Food was delicious, server was sociable, but we had to wait an hour to get seated. To be fair we arrived 25 minutes early and it was Valentine's Day but apparently one group lingered so we had to wait as staff didn't have an alternative solution for a table of six. Nothing was offered to compensate expect for a drink when two of our meals arrive late.

   Husband and I had an afternoon Valentine’s date here and it was exceptional! The waiter was very attentive, knowledgeable and timing for service was perfect. He asked if we had been there before and shared history about the building. The clam chowder was the best I’ve ever had! Perfect consistency and flavor. Our meals and drinks were delicious. It was quiet for late weekday lunch so we walked around and looked at the historical detailed and loved it. Also the harbor walk outside as well. The place is a keeper and we’ll be back again and again all seasons. Thank you for the superb service and experience.

   Beautiful space, terrific food and the best part was our fantastic server Ivy. She gave us an amazing history lesson on the building while cracking my lobster for me and putting it on s plate that looked like my lobster was a garden of flowers. She made the evening. We will be back for sure🌸

   This was our first time at the Chart House. We were seated upon our arrival. The table and surroundings were perfect. The menu had a large variety of choices. The waitstaff was great. They were on top of our greeting, drink orders, appetizer and entree orders. We received everything in a timely manner. The food was cooked to perfection. The whole experience exceeded our expectations.

   Very nice atmosphere and wait staff. Prime rib was not cooked as requested but decent.

   Food was great- especially Bleu Cheese Butter on Filet. Crunchy Shrimp was great also. Lots of shrimp, good sauces and sticky rice tasty.

    After a terrific experience a few weeks ago, we returned on a quiet Monday night expecting the same. Unfortunately, no. With the exception of the beautiful building, everything else was totally different & disappointing. Service: slow, missing & amateurish. More in line with a Chilis than a fine dining experience & $50 entrees. Food: one dish sat under the heat lamps while the second dish was prepared & came out looking ill & was tasteless. My lobster stuffed scrod was heavy on the stuffing & light on the lobster. The crab cake was so so & had a strong fishy taste. Wine: good selection, but despite the wine cellar display our bottle was warm. It took 15 minutes to get our bottle. Management: we stated our issues to what appeared to be the manager who was sympathetic & complained that the staff were more interested in drinking coffee than serving customers. She said she was going to “ speak to her boss”. To make amends she sent us home with 1 slice of cake we told her we didn’t want. Her comment highlights the issue, no experienced oversight. There were more than enough servers & the room was 70% empty.
