   Food was excellent but they are understaffed. Service took forever. We were a party of six. Four were served their drinks as aperitifs - the other two got their drinks with the main course. Filet mignon and Johnnie Walker Black don't go well. One of the diners requested two sauces with their meat - only one sauce arrived. The omission was noted, but the second sauce never arrived. The quality of the meat was excellent as was the tuna tartare appetizer.

   We absolutely loved our meal! The pre-theater dinner menu was well priced -- an excellent value for NYC and for the quantity and quality of the food. The food was absolutely supurb! And our server was professional and caring. We loved the "cool" atmosphere of the dining room. We will definitely be back.

   The service was outstanding and the staff very attentive to our needs. Everything we ordered was delicious. Compliments to the chef! Thank you for a lovely evening.

   Food was well prepared. I had salmon and my wife had the strip steak. Ordered a side that they forgot. I reminded them and they prepared it, but by the time it was brought out we were almost finished. $180 for 2 people with no alcohol. Somewhat expensive, but have to remember this is in Time Square. Not a bad option if going to a theater show. They are very cognizant about pre-theater needs and pace the service to meet that need if required.

   A Stellar Experience I had an incredible lunch at Charlie Palmer Steak. From the moment I walked in, the warm and attentive service set the tone for a fantastic meal. The staff was outstanding—Shahnaz, in particular, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The highlight of the meal was the scallops with risotto—perfectly seared, tender, and paired with a creamy, flavorful risotto that was nothing short of exceptional. Every bite was a delight. On my way out, I had the pleasure of meeting the new hotel manager, David, in the lobby. It’s always great to see leadership engaging with guests, and it speaks volumes about the level of hospitality here. Overall, an outstanding experience—I’ll definitely be back! Thanks, Howie

   Every visit to a Charlie Palmer restaurant is a reason to celebrate and last night was no exception. After being seated, we were greeted by our server, Morgan. Morgan turned out to be incredible server. After taking our drink orders she asked if we were in a hurry and we said no we'd like time to enjoy our drinks before our meal and that was easily obliged. Shortly thereafter Mohammed showed up to pour our wine. He too, had a wonderful personality and stopped by our table several times during the evening to check on us.The restaurant was quite busy due to restaurant week, but her service and attention never slowed due to the many people out dining. As one with a food allergy I was thrilled with my salmon entree, it was maybe the best salmon I've had in years. The mini espresso martinis at the end were a true delight. Many thanks to both Morgan and Mohammed for making our evening in New York so special. We look forward to visiting Charlie Palmer s again in the future.

    Went here for my husband’s birthday celebration. Ordered from the pre-theater menu, which included a cocktail. The only option for the included cocktail was a MaiTai which tasted as if it had no liquor. We arrived at 5pm and ordered immediately. The appetizer came out quickly. However, our entrees and dessert were extremely delayed, possibly because there was a private event being hosted at the same time, and the staff appeared to be scrambling to accommodate all parties. When, at 6:40, our dessert had not yet arrived, we asked for it to be packed up and had to carry it with us to the theater, which was only five minutes away. We barely made it to our show. We just arrived home and the dessert looks sad, as it is incomplete. One of the desserts was to be served with ice cream, which they did not include. The servers were terrific and the food was good, but the experience was terrible. Not the birthday I envisioned for my husband. At least the show was great.
