Charley's Steak House is owned by the Woodsby family and has operated in Florida since 1974. Charley’s serves only three-year-old USDA prime and choice Angus steers, aging them four to six weeks for tenderness & flavor and hand-cutting the steaks daily to ensure consistent quality. The steaks are then flame-broiled over Florida citrus and oak wood in a custom-built pit at 1200º searing in the tantalizing taste that has made Charley’s the #1 steakhouse in America every year since 2007! Charley’s philosophy of providing only the finest extends from the kitchen to the wine cellar. The wine list approaches 1000 selections from scores of exceptional wineries around the globe. Charley’s has been recognized with numerous awards including “Best of Award of Excellence” from Wine Spectator magazine, DiRōNA and Orlando Magazine’s“ Best Steak House & Best Old Favorite”.     First visit and we were very disappointed. We ordered garlic mashed potatoes as our side dish and it was so very heavy garlic, we couldn’t eat it and asked to send it back after one bite. The waiter brought us a baked potato in lieu of the garlic mashed and we ended up getting charged for both, which was $30. This was so wrong! My husband ordered a medium well filet and it was well done, dry and charred. For the price of our dinner, we were highly disappointed with the entire experience.

    The Bartender Jeff was very rude and arrogant , our server Steve was nice but very slow. Not the best experience and we brought a client with us hoping for a better experience.

    Amazing food and service as usual! We make this our special dinner each time we come to Florida and we are never disappointed. It is a premium price but for a premium service so more than worth it for us.

    Exceptional food quality and excellent service from start to finish, Chris, our server, went out of his way to make my wife and I feel special throughout the evening and made sure our needs were addressed My wife ordered the Stone Crab Claws and there were fantastic We will definitely visit again,

    Truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment you walk in the door, you’re made to feel like the guest of honor. Being one of the last tables sat for the evening, at no point did we feel rushed or unwelcome. Our server Juan was amazing; his knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and all things Charley’s was impeccable. Each course was brought out swiftly and every item was perfectly prepared. After visiting Charley’s close to a year ago, we were curious if it would hold up to the great memory we all shared. Tonight surpassed all of our expectations ten fold. Thank you to all the amazing staff for curating a wonderful experience. I can’t see myself being in Orlando and not dining at Charley’s.
