CHARCUT is a proud female majority-owned and operated destination restaurant and bar from Calgary’s CHAR Hospitality Group – founded by Carrie Jackson and acclaimed chefs Connie DeSousa and John Jackson. Our menu draws inspiration from Italian and Portuguese traditions, a nod to Connie’s heritage, while celebrating seasonal, artisanal, and thoughtfully sourced ingredients. From our handmade pastas and vegetable-forward sharing plates to our house-cured meats, butcher cuts, and rotisserie prime rib of Alberta beef, we take a back to basics, back to flavour approach by evolving simple ingredients. Enjoyed the tail end of happy hour. Great location, service and good. The drink menu was divers, with local options. We enjoyed the charcuterie as an appetizer and the pizza was superb. Had great service too! Will definitely go back.

Amazing food from locally-sourced ingredients. Chefs Connie and John have created a delicious and exciting menu that keeps me coming back. The bison brisket and the truffle poutine were exceptional. Looking forward to carbonara on Sunday.

This just opened up close to our home so decided we should give it a try. Food was great and our server was super friendly and knowledgeable! We’ll be back for sure!

Good selection of appetizers to choose from. Appetizers are very good as well. Pizza's are really good. Waiter was very accommodating to our asks.

This is our favourite Charcut! The table side charcuterie is a must. We were lucky to have it explained and served by Connie and John the owners. There is such passion for what they do. I can't wait to return and try the remainder of the menu. Highly recommend.

The Mozza stick appetizer, Insalata salad with white beans and roasted carrots tasted great. Our main dishes of the clam pasta and 10 oz. of sliced steak tasted good but both were just warm and therefore was a disappointment.
