   Everything was wonderful!!! I enjoyed everything from entrance to exit. Highly recommend!!! I went for a solo date for my 45th birthday and wouldn't change a thing.

   Service was great. The filet was melt in your mouth delicious! All the food we had was excellent. Shrimp & Grits, fried green tomatoes

   This is not my first experience with char. But it’ll probably be the last. The food was bland. I ordered lamb. It was horrible no seasoning what so ever, there was a jelly like sauce on the side that was so nasty. The best thing about char is the location and the staff. They were very pleasant and polite. The food is just horrible. And since it’s my second time experiencing pricey horrible food, I’d just rather not return.

   When I made the reservations through the website, I asked if there was a special reason. I replied anniversary. Then when we checked in with the host, I saw a card on the table that said anniversary. There was never an exchange between staff management to acknowledge our reason for being there, if you’re gonna make such a personal inquiry as to somebody’s Reservation and patronizing your establishment, one would stand a reason that at some point there would be some acknowledgment.

    Char was perfect! We were greeted with a "Happy Anniversary!" The food was phenomenal! My husband and I celebrated our 12th year anniversary and Char was a new restaurant we wanted to try. I read the reviews first. I went back a whole year to see if I can find anything negative on this restaurant. I found only good to great reviews. We tried the gumbo, which came out hot and tasted awesome as an appetizer! It was seasoned to perfection. My entree was the seafood carbanora. Delicious! Hubby's entree was a 16 oz. ribeye, Caesar salad, & loaded baked potato. Nothing was left on his plate! His steak was seasoned and tasted great! He gave me a bite, so I know! Our waitress was great and attentive to us, but Steve (manager) was a highlight for the evening! I give Char a 10 out of 10! I hope they can keep this up! Great job, Char! Thanks for helping us make our anniversary more special! Excellent customer service, food, and drink!
