Checkin was great but unfortunately the service is not what you should have to expect. It is just evident that they are mainly dealing with tourists and the level of service overall is just low. 20% of tip automatically added to your check is the best way to not motivate your employees to do their best.

Overhyped. The service was really bad and the place was not clean- bathrooms filthy and food slow and was not good. Almost like banquet food.

Waitress had old dried stains all over her white shirt. All over! Disgusting!! Drinks came after appetizers. Entree returned. Inedible. Couldn't find waitress. Replacement. Burnt outside and raw inside. Cash not accepted unless exact change. Gratuity for 2 included, but service horrible. Never will return. Total disappointment.

Food and atmosphere are great - and terrific service too- hoped for a window seat since made reservations months in advance. For sure need to make reservations and request window table in main room.

Our meal at Boathouse has been my FAVORITE meal so far in NYC. You cannot beat the ambiance. The food is fantastic! I would definitely not consider this an inexpensive meal and the servers seem to be over booked but thus far it has been the best!!

Service was great. Food was good. It’s a beautiful place with a beautiful scenic view. THE BIGGEST ISSUE WAS THE STENCH COMING FROM THE RESTROOM. It traveled to our table and it was unbearable
