The food was perfect and the ideal portion size. The atmosphere was intimate and warm. Loved the service, but again, the food - we both got pasta dishes - was fresh and excellent

The food was next level. I have no complaints about it. Pastas are on the heavier side but every dish I had was delicious. I was disappointed with the service. Took a long time to get someone to notice I needed a new drink or more water and overall they just didn't seem as friendly as I expected. They didn't even wish my wife a happy birthday when I noted that it was the reason for our reservation. While that isn't a huge deal, I would expect a restaurant of this caliber to say happy birthday or even send a candle out or something. Hopefully if I go again, the service matches the food quality and taste. I do recommend sitting at the bar so you can watch the food get cooked.

Went on Monday and the restaurant was pretty lively. The food and drinks were so fabulous. However, the host was kinda rude and made us feel rushed. In spite had a good time.

Most of the seatings are in the terrace area which can be chilly in the evening and is next to a building with lights turning on as people pass by so not the ideal ambience. In light of that, I would have gone back if the food was worthwhile. Octopus was over cooked and charred. Mussels/clams had sourness and curry undernotes that didn’t go well together. Pastas (spicy tomato, broccoli bucatini and corn agnolotti) were all mediocre at best. Neither the ambience nor the food justifies the price tag.

This is my second time dining at Cento. The food was just as amazing as I remember. It was a hit with my party. We already said which dishes will bring us back: gem Caesar, sweet corn agnolotti, squid ink mafaldine, date cake, and banana pudding tiramisu. 4 stars for service since they forgot to bring out my squid ink pasta even after three reminders. They did remedy it by comping a dessert without having to ask. I was looking forward to the espresso + date martini, but the oat milk made it visually unpleasing, plus I’ve had much better. Overall, I look forward to returning.

Brought an old boss and now good friend and he was blown away by everything. We took all recommendations from our just right attentionwise waitress and loved all. Ashley believed a couple of dishes we had were best ever, definitely best Los Angeles. Thanks for providing the perfect stop!
